Occupational Therapist Location: Mount Vernon, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,180 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 52 Weeks Start Date: 4/4/2026 About the Position Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapist Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 52 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 4-24 hours depending on need and want Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Valid occupational therapist license required Certifications: Relevant certifications required Must-Have: Local and reliable candidates Description: This position has no maximum bill rate. Candidates should be local and reliable and submit at a reasonable rate. This will provide valuable data for the state and help successfully fill the roles. The therapist will assess clients' physical capacities and psychosocial functions. Assessments may include motor, cognitive, perceptual, and behavioral evaluations. Therapist will use standardized and non-standardized assessment tools. They will plan, coordinate, and implement individual and group treatment plans. Determination of appropriate therapy techniques and sequence is essential. Treatment plans will be coordinated with other programs for overall client benefit. The therapist will provide consultations with clients and other health care professionals. Recommendations for treatment and integration of plans will be made. Participation in planning, organizing, and controlling therapy services is required. The therapist will assess and locate suitable adaptive equipment as needed. Documentation of evaluations, observations, and assessments of performance is vital. They will record treatment plans and revisions and requisition supplies and equipment. Maintaining records is essential to ensure compliance and organization. Staying current with occupational therapy knowledge through training is necessary. Attendance at staff meetings is expected.
