Job Description Job Title: Part time-Psychiatrist Location:
Youngstown OH 44505 Duration: 6 Months to Long term Shift: 07:00
am- 05:00 pm (M-F) Hours/week: 20 Hours/week Includes: Searching
for a board-eligible or board-certified Ohio-licensed psychiatrist
to provide on-site services on a part-time basis (16-24 hours/week)
to the male incarcerated population. On-call coverage is not
required. Schedule is flexible based on needs of facility. Selected
psychiatrist will meet with 12-16 patients per 8-hour shift. •
Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to
administer treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing
nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing
an electronic health record system • Conducting exams and writing
evaluations and reports • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic
testing • Managing medication • Making referrals for specialized
care or treatment • Performing duties in accordance with scope of
practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related
American Correctional Association standards • Participating in
continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including
peer reviews • Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed
Requirement: • Healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification.
• Ohio Medical License. • Copy of Board Certification. • Drug
Enforcement Administration certification.
