company as an Electrical Powertrain System Controls Test Engineer.
You will contribute to the development and optimization of
automotive development and testing with highly collaborative
teams.

Responsibilities:
Automotive development and testing of Powertrain Control Units
based on 3 different systems.
Writing hardware and software specifications.
Performing confirmation testing on the actual vehicle and
simulator.
Troubleshooting and fixing related problems.
Software functional data analysis and report generation.
Working with component suppliers and other departments to resolve
technical issues.
Make technical decisions with moderate supervision.
Able to work with a team or on an individual basis to reach project
goals.
Prepare and present documentation to evaluators detailing the
verification work completed.
Other responsibilities also include researching new technologies
and market trends and making proposals for future products.
Requirements:
3-5+ years experience with Powertrain ECU validation (Transmission,
Shifter or FI-ECU preferred experience).
Strong knowledge of electrical hardware and software
development.
Experience in the use of electronic measuring equipment and
electrical troubleshooting experience.
Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
SharePoint).
Proficient Vector tools: CANalyzer, CANape / ETAS: INCA or other
related tools + skillset.
Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering,
Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar.
A MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software
Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar is highly
preferred.
Interest in the automotive field.
Excellent communication/interpersonal and organizational
skills.
Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
Valid Ohio driver's license.
Duration: 12 months
Location: Raymond, OH (5 days a week onsite)
