TITLE: Horizontal Directional Drill Locator - Mansfield, OH DESCRIPTION :The Horizontal Directional Drill Locator will implement all directional drilling plans and procedures, oversee all drilling operations, and ensure compliance to all drilling objectives. In this role, some of your responsibilities include locating utilities, hand digging, horizontal directional drilling, trenching and general labor. The HDD Locator will work directly with the Directional Drill Operator to ensure compliance to all drilling objectives.Responsibilities:Knowledgeable and safe when operating locating equipment, hydro vacs, core drills and hand tools.Operates locator for installation of underground telecommunications cable including fiber optic cable.Complete daily safety/vehicle/equipment inspections.Complete daily tasks as assigned by your Operator in a safe and efficient manner.Verification of proper potholing/day lighting of existing facilities and utilities in the work area.Setup and operate various directional boring equipment.A clear understanding of locating information and utility conflict resolutionFollow safety and drilling operation procedures at all times to guarantee a safe work environment at all times.AM Communications was established in 2002 and is a rapidly growing, telecommunications company with a footprint across the U.S. holding prime contracts for large MSO's.*This role may require occasional travel.*PM23 POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Must have a valid drivers license and meet AM Communications MVR qualifications.Ability to pass a nationwide background check and drug screen.Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.High school graduate or equivalent preferred.CDL preferred, but not required.Some travel may be required.2 years experience on DCI and Subsite ElectronicsThis position offers:Uniforms, safety gear, and specialty toolsMedical, Dental, Life, and Disability insurancePaid time off and paid holidays401(k) retirement savings planDirect deposit every Friday EOE STATEMENT:We are an equal opportunity employer.
