Resumes may be submitted to hr@*Must be authorized to work in the United States.* Drug-Free Workplace.Position DescriptionAmcrete - Concrete FinisherSummary: The concrete finisher effectively pours, places, and finishes concrete on a variety of surfaces with assistance from concrete laborers.Primary Job Responsibilities:Sets the forms to hold concrete in placeCleans and inspects surfaces for pouring issuesDirects the casting of the concretePours, smooths, and levels concrete using a rake, trowel, float, and screed, including the use of handheld and/or power toolsMonitors the effects of the weather on the curing processApplies sealing and hardening componentsOperates power vibrator to ensure the concrete is compactedAdheres to the companys safety policies to create a safe work environmentOther duties as assignedPM21Position RequirementsAmcrete - Concrete FinisherDesired Skills and Qualifications:High School Diploma/GEDSufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills, and characteristics to perform duties of the role10 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within ninety (90) days of employmentMust obtain proper training and certifications prior to operating equipmentAbility to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions consisting of wet, hot, humid and/or freezing temperatures, also contending with dirt and dustAny combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the workAbility to use equipment and tools in a safe and efficient mannerMust maintain a valid drivers license and clean driving recordMust be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigueMust have the necessary dexterity and fine motor skillsAbility to work in an environment where the noise level is generally loudMust be willing and able to travel to jobsites which may at times require overnight stays away from homeAbility to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistencyMust have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructionsEqual Opportunity EmployerEqual Opportunity EmployerPI175587985SDL2017
