This role involves managing local deliveries and ensuring timely transport of goods while maintaining safety standards. Your responsibilities will include navigating local routes, adhering to delivery schedules, and performing vehicle safety checks. This position is ideal for those who excel in a dynamic, hands-on environment and are committed to outstanding customer service. Operate a Class B vehicle for local delivery routes in compliance with all traffic laws. Load and unload cargo, verifying loads against shipping papers and maintaining secure cargo. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer communications. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. Follow scheduled routes and timings diligently, adapting to any changes effectively. Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies at all times. Skillful handling of Class B vehicles Strong time management and punctuality Effective communication and customer service skills Ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy items Knowledge of local route navigation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. DOT medical card.
