As a CDL A Truck Driver at Hogan1, you will be at the heart of our operations, directly impacting our success and upholding our reputation for operational excellence. Operate a tractor-trailer or flatbed truck in accordance with company and federal safety regulations. Transport goods and materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance as needed. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with truck driving rules and regulations. Manage documentation associated with freight transportation, maintaining precise logs of working hours and vehicle service or repair status within federal and state guidelines. Address and resolve any issues or complications that emerge during operations, ensuring customer satisfaction. Engage in the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring secure and accurate handling of shipments. Proven experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.). Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.). Strong organizational and time management skills.
