As a Data Center Controls Technician with Amazon Data Services, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and operational efficiency of our physical infrastructure. In this role, you will monitor and maintain the building control systems that are crucial for the operational continuity of our data centers. Your expertise will ensure that our expansive and sophisticated data environments operate at utmost efficiency, providing our global customers with the reliable services that power their businesses. Monitor and maintain building control systems including HVAC, electrical, and fire suppression systems. Perform routine and emergency service on a variety of state-of-the-art critical systems. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and controls systems to ensure optimal functioning. Execute site inspections and monitor subcontractors during facility and systems modifications. Participate in the creation of energy efficiency strategies to reduce operational costs. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and compliance standards within the data center. Experience with BAS/BMS systems Proficient in troubleshooting HVAC or electrical systems Familiarity with industrial control systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) EPA 608 Certification – For HVAC systems
