Performance Foodservice seeks a dedicated CDL Class A Shuttle Driver to help maintain our timely food distribution while being able to return home every day. As part of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our deliveries run smoothly and efficiently, contributing directly to the satisfaction of our widespread clientele and sustaining the success of our operations. This role includes a generous $10,000 sign-on bonus as part of our commitment to attracting top-tier talent. Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to complete daily routes and backhaul pickups. Adhere to company safety policies and procedures to ensure safe and reliable service. Complete pre- and post-trip inspections of your vehicle, documenting any issues. Review and manage delivery documentation to ensure accurate deliveries and pickups. Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams to optimize delivery routes. Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, adhering to all local, state, and federal vehicular regulations. Safe and efficient driving skills. Strong time management and organizational abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle physical workload including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 75 pounds.
