According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients admitted/transferred to assigned unit. In doing so, demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.

RNL - Registered Nurse License Ohio
OHDL - Ohio Driver's License
CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Field of Study: NursingYears of Experience: No previous experience with 3 to 6 months on the job
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Required1. Work requires the knowledge normally acquired through completion and graduation from an accredited school of Nursing and no previous experience plus three to six months of time on the job.2. Work requires current Ohio license as a Registered Nurse and CPR certification.3. Work requires the analytical skills necessary in order to solve technical, clinical, or administrative problems that require a professional level of knowledge in a specific discipline and/or relatively complex plans, systems, and programs.4. Work requires the communication skills necessary in order to enforce policies in difficult situations, assign work to other employees, or perform other duties requiring a comparable level of communication skills.5. Work is not completely standardized. Assignments are often received in the form of results expected, due dates, and general procedures to follow. Driver's License with Auto liability insurance and a current and unrestricted driver's license are also required. Includes driving to perform duties of position at various locations.
