This position ensures delivery of evidenced-based patient care by professional nursing personnel and other staff in designated areas through interdisciplinary teams using process improvement tools and methodologies. The Clinical Outcomes Manager provides direction as it relates to quality and outcomes management. This position works with the Multidisciplinary Team for select patient populations to ensure one standard of care and practice for quality patient care throughout the organization.

RN - Registered Nurse
BLS - Basic Life Support
Field of Study: NURSINGYears of Experience: 5 to 10
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in the state of Ohio. Master of science in Nursing and current Basic Life (BLS) provider; or a PhD in applicable field (e.g. Public Health) may be substituted in lieu of MSN and current RN licensure. Understanding of systems and change process. Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing; skilled in organizational dynamics, diplomacy, and assertiveness. Ability to act autonomously and willingness to be open to change. Computer skills database, Word, Access, Excel. Viewed by peers and physicians as expert resource in his her area of practice. Administrative concepts, organizational behavior, Management processes, Nursing practice standards, legal and ethical matters, Health care economics, Health and public policy, Consumer health issues, Health care evaluation and outcome measures. (P 53 ANA stds). Management skills such as consultation, teaching learning, problem solving and understanding of quality improvement. May require advanced training in specialty areas. as staff RN, ANM or like position (5 to 10 yrs. clinical, bedside nursing in related area of practice).

This position will be instrumental in preparing both campuses for Joint Commission Accreditation surveys and other similar programs. Included also is leading our efforts in Patient Safety. We are looking for candidates that are detail oriented, able to lead teams and enthusiastic about insuring our patients are kept safe while in our facilities.
