Physician Assistant | Surgery - Cardiothoracic Location: Lima, OH Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Step into a high-impact cardiothoracic surgery role in Lima, Ohio , supporting a Level II Trauma center with a strong surgical program. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surgical provider seeking OR exposure, inpatient rounding, and structured call coverage — all while earning competitive, best-in-market rates (discussed upon interest). Comprehensive malpractice coverage included, along with complimentary travel and lodging. Position Overview Location: Lima, OH Setting: OR, Clinic, and Inpatient Rounds Coverage Dates: July 18–25 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Call: Evenings & weekends Approx. 7–10 days of call per month Call back required EMR: Epic Trauma Level: II ?? Must be available for listed dates to be considered. Clinical Responsibilities This role requires a strong, experienced surgical provider comfortable in high-acuity settings. Required Skills & Duties: First assist in open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries Inpatient rounding Pre-operative physical exams Ordering tests and imaging Writing prescriptions Suture removal Chest tube insertions Thoracentesis Adult patient population APP works autonomously Supervising physician present in OR and clinic settings Compensation & Benefits Competitive, best-in-market rates (discussed upon interest) Comprehensive malpractice coverage provided Flight and hotel accommodations provided ?
