mental health clinic provides comprehensive primary care services
to patients of all ages with emphasis on mental health treatment
and underserved community care. The facility operates with
dedicated nursing support, medical assistants, and multiple nurse
practitioners to ensure coordinated patient care during regular
business hours. About the Facility Location This region offers
diverse recreational opportunities and year-round activities for
residents and visitors. The area features various outdoor
entertainment options and family-friendly attractions throughout
the state. About the Clinician‘s Workday The nurse practitioner
will deliver comprehensive family medicine services in a mental
health clinic setting, providing primary care to patients of all
ages with particular focus on mental health conditions and
underserved community needs. Daily responsibilities include
managing 12-15 patients during regular business hours from Monday
through Friday, conducting thorough patient evaluations, and
maintaining accurate medical documentation while working
collaboratively with registered nurses, medical assistants, and two
other nurse practitioners. The position requires comfort working
with mental illness patients and experience serving underserved
populations, with walk-in appointments scheduled from 11:00 AM to
12:00 PM and standard lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
