Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 30, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Ontario, OH, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience and willingness to float to sister campuses. Details - Part-time position in a hospital ICU setting - Night shift schedule: 2x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00) - Patient-to-nurse ratio of 3:1 - Every other weekend (EOW) required - Floating to sister campus ICU units (Bucyrus & Galion) may be required if census drops - Medication scanning knowledge required - If placed on-call, must be able to return to the facility within 1 hour Requirements - Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Minimum 2 years of recent, consecutive ICU experience in a hospital or acute care setting required - Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered - Two professional references required for consideration - Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Additional Information - Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 6 months before being considered for a position - RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the contract - All missed shifts must be made up; if your assigned weekend falls during RTO, you are responsible for finding coverage American Traveler Job ID P-681238.
