Registered Nurse (RN) | Mother Baby Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,997 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of postpartum experience License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, IV certification Must-Have: - IV start skills and labor & delivery experience - EPIC experience Description: Schedule may float to units with similar acuity. 3x12-hour shifts, 12 days every other week (36 hours per week). Daily patient ratios range from 3-4 dyads with a total of 6-8 patients. Will be required to float to different units as needed. Ability to provide family-centered care to women and infants. Experience with telemetry interpretation and must pass an EKG exam prior to start. Experience with discharge teaching to parents and guiding on newborn care. Skills in starting and maintaining IVs, administering medications, and performing newborn assessments. Experience in caring for postpartum patients, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Familiarity with handling postpartum complications such as hemorrhage and hypertension. Knowledge of metabolic screenings and managing newborn conditions like hypoglycemia. Attention to detail in monitoring patient status and providing relevant care interventions. Must be adaptable and responsive to patient care needs in a dynamic environment.
