Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Travel RN - Respiratory Med-Surg/n/n Location/n Ohio /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required. /n/nJob Description/n We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced, 21-bed Respiratory Med-Surg unit specializing in the care of pulmonary diseases. This high-acuity unit manages a complex patient population, including those requiring continuous telemetry monitoring. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with rapid patient turnover and varying levels of care needs. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse population of adult respiratory and medical-surgical patients. /n - Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry. /n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. /n - Float as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Active Ohio RN license. /n - Current BLS certification required. /n - Minimum of 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience. /n - Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips (competency test required on Day 1; failure of competency is grounds for immediate termination). /n - Proficiency with Epic EMR is mandatory (no training or refreshers provided; lack of Epic proficiency is grounds for immediate termination). /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
