JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Physician Pediatric Pulmonary Disease Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Cleveland, OH Service Setting: Hospital Acute Care / Teaching Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Coverage Period: 03/16/2026 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Friday; Night shifts 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (as scheduled) COVERAGE DATES Starting 03/16/2026 Ongoing (Minimum 1 week per month) PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Pediatrics Patient Volume/Census: TBD Admissions: Yes Rounding: Included Phone Consults: Yes Case Mix: Asthma, cystic fibrosis, broncho pulmonary dysplasia, chronic lung disease, NICU/PICU consults FACILITY INFORMATION Office Equipment Available: Standard pulmonary and hospital equipment Specialty Backup Available: Full tertiary-care pediatric subspecialty support Support Staff Available: RNs, respiratory therapists, ancillary staff Reason for Coverage: Ongoing locum coverage need PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rate: TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Pediatric pulmonary consults Pulmonary function test interpretation Bronchoscopy (if credentialed/required) NICU/PICU inpatient consult coverage JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Ohio medical license (IMLC accepted with LOQ) Board: BC/BE in Pediatric Pulmonary Disease DEA: Active DEA required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Experience: Minimum 3 years Other Qualifications: Fellowship-trained pediatric pulmonologist Prior academic or tertiary-care experience preferred NPDB self-query required CSR (Ohio) required DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonology services Manage complex pediatric pulmonary conditions Provide consult coverage for NICU and PICU patients Interpret pulmonary function tests Perform bronchoscopy when credentialed Top Reasons to Choose a Locum Tenens Assignment Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and specialists across various healthcare settings, gaining insights and perspectives that enrich your professional practice.
