Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,997 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years of Emergency Room Experience Required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Must-Have: Epic experience required Must be willing to float between ICC and ED units as needed Description: This role is for a nursing position specializing in the Emergency Room. The unit sees a variety of patients ranging from hematology, oncology, and sickle cell. Patients may present with urgent and non-urgent conditions but are typically more stable than the emergency room population. Most patients will be discharged home, while others may be admitted. This unit schedules appointments based on calls received from the patient's primary team or oncologist. Patients may come from another area of the facility or directly from home. Being a smaller unit allows for strong relationships between staff members and provides a supportive environment. Nurses will have opportunities to develop numerous skills and create relationships in a less acute setting. Patient Diagnoses include: Sickle Cell Crisis Fever Abdominal pain Uncontrolled pain Anemia Nausea, vomiting, dehydration The unit is staffed 24/7 by a team of Advanced Practice Providers and Nurses. Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams. 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Advocating for patients becomes more nuanced when dealing with diverse populations.
