Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Unit: Surgical
Oncology, MICU Stepdown - Start Date: January 5, 2026 - End Date:
April 5, 2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts
(7:00 AM – 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend and
holiday - Hours per Week: 36 - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,628 –
$2,700 Oncology RN Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license in Ohio or compact state - At least 1 year of recent acute
care RN experience required - Preferred experience in oncology,
stepdown, surgical, or telemetry nursing - Ability to work rotating
shifts, weekends, and holidays - Completion of all required
onboarding health screenings and background checks (MMR, Varicella,
Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, Fit Test, TB/PPD, and others as
required) - Successful completion of competency exams and nursing
skills checklists - Valid Driver's License or State ID Registered
Nurse Responsibilities - Provide high-quality, evidence-based
nursing care to oncology patients in surgical and stepdown settings
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications,
and perform treatments as ordered - Utilize telemetry and advanced
monitoring equipment for patient assessment and clinical support -
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and
implement individualized care plans - Educate patients and families
on oncology treatment plans, recovery, and ongoing care - Maintain
accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety
