Conduct initial health assessments and routine screenings on newly
admitted inmates. Provide direct patient care including medication
administration, wound care, chronic disease management, and
emergency response. Monitor and document inmate health conditions
and respond appropriately to urgent or emergent situations.
Collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, and
correctional staff to develop and implement individualized care
plans. Educate inmates on health maintenance and disease
prevention. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in
compliance with HIPAA and facility standards. Ensure infection
control protocols and safety procedures are followed. Participate
in case reviews, audits, and training programs as required. Respond
to and document incidents, injuries, or other health-related
