Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/28/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Emergency Room Nurse 2 years exp required Shift Information: 7AM-7PM / 7PM -7AM OSHA Exposure Level: This position involves potential exposure to biological hazards , chemicals , and electrical equipment as commonly encountered in clinical nursing environments. Although no specific environmental or protective equipment considerations are outlined, the nature of nursing work inherently includes occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens , as defined by OSHA (29 CFR 1910.1030), due to responsibilities such as medication administration, treatment procedures, and patient care involving bodily fluids. Exposure Classification: Category I – High Risk The tasks required of this position include procedures or job-related tasks that involve an inherent potential for mucous membrane or skin contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues , or a potential for spills or splashes of these substances. Use of Universal Precautions is mandatory.
