Pay Information $2,269 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Chemo Certified Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ONS Chemo Certification Must-Have: CHEMO Certification required Telemetry interpretation skills IV therapy and phlebotomy Description: The position is in an acute leukemia and hematology unit. The role involves working with newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients. Shift assignments may involve days, nights, or a combination of both. There is an emphasis on infection prevention protocols. Patient fall prevention is a key focus. Staffing ratios aim for 1:4, but may vary. Orientation consists of 24 hours of training. Self-scheduling requests are accepted to accommodate preferred schedules. Candidates must complete fingerprints immediately upon signing the contract.
