Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
- Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:
12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel We are actively seeking
a dedicated and experienced PCU/Tele RN for a night shift
assignment at a well-regarded hospital in Akron, OH. This is a
great opportunity for a nurse with strong intermediate care skills
to make a meaningful impact in a high-acuity, team-focused
environment. Assignment Details: Shift: Nights, 36 hours/week (Must
be available Friday night through Monday night) Unit: 21-bed
cardiac step-down/tele and stroke overflow Nurse-to-Patient Ratio:
1:4, occasionally 1:5 Floating: Required based on unit needs
Scheduling: Weekend block scheduling allowed (Friday-Monday), RTO
must not exceed 7 days Dress Code: Solid black scrubs
Qualifications: Active RN license Minimum of 2 years of recent
PCU/Tele experience ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
Strong Epic EMR skills (used within the last 12 months – must list
where it was used on resume) Must be skilled in IV insertion and
phlebotomy Graduate of an accredited nursing program Additional
Information: RTO must be submitted with application; more than 7
days will result in automatic rejection Interviews are required –
please include days and times of availability for interview when
applying Travel Weekly Gross: $2,242 Tax-Free Stipend: $1,162/week
Taxable Base Pay: $1,080/week DextroMedical Job ID SUM-2519. Pay
package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject
to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
