Akron Children's Hospital Pediatrics (ACHP) brings pediatric primary care for babies, children and teens to many northeast Ohio communities through our 36 pediatric offices. Join our established Mansfield practice of 5 experienced pediatricians and 7 nurse practitioners as the practice continues to grow. This location recently expanded in a brand-new space as part of the Akron Children s Hospital Health Center bringing together pediatric primary care, urgent care, over a dozen of the most in-demand pediatric specialty care practices, and rehabilitation services in one conveniently-located medical building. This is an outpatient opportunity with after-hours call and Saturday office hours shared between providers. Calls only reach the physician after being screened by our excellent after-hours nurse triage phone line which handles more than 90% of the calls. The office is open a half day on Saturday mornings which are rotated between providers. This is a busy existing practice, so we welcome new graduates or established providers to step into a practice that they can continue to develop and grow. This position is a 501(c)(3) site which qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government. Our offices follow standard hospital-based policies, while retaining the local culture of each practice. Our physicians enjoy the use of EPIC as a system-wide integrated electronic health record. Our primary care offices are all PCMH certified. The Patient-Centered Medical Home is a model of care that puts patients at the forefront of care. PCMHs build better relationships between people and their clinical care teams. Research shows that they improve quality, the patient experience and staff satisfaction, while reducing health care costs. This opportunity offers:
