Job Description:
The Administrator role is responsible for coordinating services
and care plans, developing and implementing improved services, and
overseeing all day-to-day operations.Focus:
- Direct organizational activities between contacts, governing
bodies, and staff members.
- Ensure continued education to maintain adequate staff education
and evaluations.
- Maintain accurate public information records, materials, and
activities.
- Develop and implement accounting and budgeting systems to
track, forecast, and ensure precise billing procedures.
- Remain up to date on and adhere to all federal, state, and
local rules and regulations regarding the delivery of home health
services.
- Analyze and evaluate program data to recommend improvements
that drive quality and effectiveness of services.
- Support staff development initiatives including orientation,
continuing education, etc.
- Ensure Clinical Supervisors are available for all operating
hours coverage.Skill Set:
- 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in home health or
community health.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related health care field
preferred.
- Current RPN, RN, or LPN license and CPR certification required.
other home health certification is a plus.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing a multi-disciplinary team
within a home healthcare setting.
- In-depth understanding of Medicare/Medicaid regulations,
policies, and payment mechanisms.
- Excellent organizational, planning, problem-solving,
decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with internal and
external parties from various backgrounds.
- Required: Valid driver's license and auto insurance with the
