Position: Intermediate RN
Unit: Cardiac stepdown
Facility: Mansfield General Hospital
Term: 12 weeks
Shift: Night. 7p - 7a Every other weekend required and some holidays possible.
Desired Start Date: ASAP

Minimal requirements:
ACLS, BLS
1.5 years of experience
Must be able to read and interpret Telemetry independently.
Trauma center/ large hospital experience strongly preferred

Description:
OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital is a 326-bed Level II trauma center and certified stroke center in Richland County, which has provided quality healthcare to the north central Ohio community since 1908.

The hospital offers a comprehensive mix of inpatient and outpatient healthcare services, including delicate neurological and cardiovascular surgeries, sophisticated diagnostic testing and comprehensive cancer and trauma care.

Emergency Department consists of a triage area, approximately 50 beds as well as a forensic department. RN's will typically be responsible for four patients. Treats more than 52,000 emergency patients per year. Candidates must have stellar knowledge and assessment skills related to cardiac, respiratory, orthopedic, pediatric, psychiatric, OB/GYN, GI, neurologic and trauma patients of varying acuity levels. Must be able to read and interpret telemetry independently. Prioritization and time management skills are essential and as with any OhioHealth facility team work and excellent customer service skills are a must. EMR system is EPIC, scrub color is navy blue. Must be willing to float to sister hospital Shelby Hospital (critical access site) should census decrease.
