Apply today to learn more.We Offer:Monday through Friday ScheduleExcellent PayFull BenefitsGenerous PTOOverview:Reviews patient accounts and ensures their accuracy and completeness, determines appropriate billing/collections processes and processes statements, receives and answers billing-related inquiries, and assists in the preparation of billing reports.Essential Job Functions:Prepares appropriate billing statements for self-pay, Medicare, Medicaid and/or third-party payers.Submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid and/or third-party payers in a timely manner.Check claim response files for claim acceptance or rejections.Resubmit rejected claims in a timely manner.Assists in the preparation of billing activity reports.Files complete patient account files according to established procedures.Collects patient admission and other related statistics for the Reimbursement Supervisor to assist in the compilation of billing activity reports.Performs special projects as assigned.Other duties as assigned.Education, Experience and Skills:2-3 years of billing/collections experience in Hospice or related industry (Home Health, Hospital, Physician, etc.)2-3 years' experience with Medicare, Medicaid and Private Insurance billing/collections.High school diploma required college courses in accounting preferred.Proficient in Excel and Word, 10-key by touch.
