Company ProfileEdge Plastics Inc. is an injection molding
manufacturing company located in Mansfield, OH. Edge Plastics
manufactures household and industrial storage containers for large
retailers across the United States and Canada. The company
continues to grow to reinvest in new high-efficiency machines and
automation equipment. Edge is also continuing to expand its product
line and continues to capture more market share. Edge strives to

our employee's success.Position Summary:Reporting to VP of Sales,
the Account Manager is responsible for supporting the company's
sales efforts, specifically in the Injection Molding sector. This
is a new position and will be a major driver for overall company
growth. The Manager works collaboratively and effectively at all
levels of the organization and is responsible for maintaining
existing customer relationships, growing the relationship as
appropriate, identifying new sales opportunities and will report
those opportunities to the V.P. of Sales. The position is also
responsible for attending customer events, shows, meetings and
gathering information for new sales opportunities and proposals,
reporting to customers as needed about the status of sales, and
monitoring internal activities to complete projects on time and
successfully meeting customer expectations. Ideally, the candidate
would have 2-4 years of Project Management or 2-4 years of Account
Management experience in the Automotive industry, preferably
packaging.Essential Duties:Partners with Sales, Customer Service,
and Field Service teams, to generate leads for products and
services.Maintains and increases sales volume within assigned
accounts and territory; meets and exceeds assigned quota and sales
objectives as well as exceeding customer expectations regarding
customer service and solution-minded interactions.Identify
prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls,
and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all service
categories.Partners with current customers and recommends
value-added services that will assist in managing their business
more effectively.Works closely with other departments of the
company to ensure payments are received, disputes are resolved, and
analyzes and identify customer needs.Solicits and explains
difficult concepts while moving the sales process to
closure.Targets strategic accounts to drive incremental growth
opportunities specifically in accounts without current sales
coverage.Keeps up to date on administrative responsibilities, such
as maintaining customer service call logs and internal service
records-effectively and uses CRM to drive customer penetration and
opportunity identification.Attends trade shows and Strategic
Customer meetings as agreed upon.Follows established procedures to
resolve readily identifiable technical problems.Collaborates with
all departments as internal customers, prioritizing tasks as needed
for efficiency and compliance.Adheres to all company employment
policies and safe practices.Perform other duties as
assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in marketing or
related field.Two to five years' years sales experience in tangible
products (injection molding products preferred).Two to five years'
experience in Account Management preferred.Proven ability to meet
or exceed sales quotas.Proven track record of successfully managing
customer relationships.Must be able to travel 10-15% per month.Must
have the availability to respond to any emergency type situation,
that may require off hours or weekend support. (Edge Plastics
operates on a 24/7/365 basis).Must be in the Mansfield, OH
areaRequired Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communication skills
(written and verbal).Goal Oriented, ability to work independently
in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple
projects/tasks.Strong computer skills.Excellent problem-solving
skills and critical thinking skills.Proficient in Microsoft
Office.Excellent interpersonal skills.
