Sweeping Operator & Route Lead is responsible for operating a
commercial parking lot sweeper truck during night shifts. This
position includes ensuring service quality, managing a designated
route, and performing minor maintenance tasks on equipment. The
ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of
working independently with minimal supervision. Key
Responsibilities: • Operate commercial sweeping truck safely and
efficiently. • Follow pre-established route and adjust as needed to
maximize productivity. • Perform thorough sweeping of parking lots,
curbs, dumpster areas, and entry zones. • Use backpack blowers or
portering equipment for hard-to-reach areas as required. • Conduct
pre- and post-trip inspections and complete documentation logs. •
Communicate site issues or safety hazards to supervisors. • Follow
all safety procedures and company policies. • Maintain a clean and
professional appearance of vehicle and tools • Support and train
backup drivers when assigned. Qualifications : • Valid driver’s
license with clean driving record (CDL not required but preferred).
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as
scheduled. • Strong attention to detail and time management. •
Comfortable working independently and in all weather conditions. •
Previous experience in sweeping, grounds maintenance, or equipment
operation is a plus. • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. Work
Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee
is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, wet or humid
conditions, working near moving mechanical parts, and fumes or
airborne particles. Occasionally exposed to vibration, toxic or
caustic chemicals and risk of electric shock. Noise level in the
work environment is usually loud. Physical Requirements • Ability
to sit, drive, and operate equipment for extended periods. • Lift
or move up to 50 lbs as needed. • Frequent exposure to outdoor
conditions including dust, debris, and varying temperatures. What
