Lewis Center, OH Job Description We are seeking talented Assembly Technicians to join our team, at an industry leader focusing on the building and assembly of industrial automated equipment. This role involves wiring, assembling, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated equipment to ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate brings a foundational skillset with a strong desire to learn, be coached and be a teammate. This is a great opportunity to grow upward in the company and be developed into leadership positions. The current maintenance lead was originally placed by Aerotek! Entry level, intermediate and experienced candidates with relevant manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply! Responsibilities Build and assemble industrial automated equipment. Wire, assemble, and troubleshoot equipment on a daily basis. Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints. Work with pneumatic components such as air cylinders, flow controls, hydraulic valves, and pneumatic valves. Use basic hand tools and perform drill and tapping tasks. Ensure personal and machine safety during operations. Potentially teach and guide robotics programming and operation. Essential Skills Familiarity with electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints. Experience with mechanical assembly and detailed drawings. Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic components. Basic hand tool proficiency. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Additional Skills & Qualifications Maintenance Technician experience or skillset. Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. Knowledge of 480v - 3 Phase electrical systems. Experience with VFDs, photo-eyes, and PLCs. Ability to wire and control panels. Robotics experience is a plus. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LEWIS CENTER, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
