Job Description Job Description Job Title: Pipefitter | $26-$33/hr | 2nd or 3rd shift | Minerva, OH Job Description We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter for either the 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM) or 3rd shift (11 PM - 7 AM) in Minerva, OH. Candidates will be responsible for cutting, threading, or hammering pipes to specifications using various tools, laying out full-scale drawings, and inspecting installed systems. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $26-$33. Responsibilities Cut, thread, or hammer pipes to specifications using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, or pipe benders. Lay out full-scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, or related equipment according to blueprints. Inspect, examine, or test installed systems or pipelines using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, and observation. Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications. Attach pipes to walls, structures, or fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment. Modify, clean, or maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, or related machines or equipment using hand and power tools. Install pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves. Keep records of work assignments. Essential Skills Proficiency in welding and pipefitting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience in threading and pipe installation. Journeyman level skills are preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a unionized work environment is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Why Work Here?
