Job Description:
Job Description As a Project Mechanical Engineer, you will be
responsible for scoping, engineering, designing, and installing
projects in the Circleville facility. These include both new
installations and modifications to existing processes. This
responsibility includes working with and supervising contractors,
other supervisors, operations and maintenance personnel, vendors,
purchasing, and EHS to assure a high level of achievement in
safety, quality and productivity. Other responsibilities include
the development and institution of operating and training programs
related to projects and the skills of maintenance and operations
personnel. This role has a strong emphasis on mechanical controls
engineering, including the integration of mechanical systems with
automation, instrumentation, and control strategies. You will
ensure that mechanical designs align with control system
requirements, safety standards, and operational needs. You will
work in Circleville, OH plant and you will report to the
Engineering Service Manager. PPG offers excellent Medical, Dental,

Vacation, Holiday pay. Responsibilities: - Lead mechanical and
mechanical-controls design efforts, including equipment selection,
specifications, layouts, and system integration. - Be able to
conceptualize systems and communicate these plans to all kinds of
personnel. - Develop scope documents, obtain engineering and
construction bids, write ACT requests, oversee construction,
schedule and coordinate system outages, and support the start-up
operation of projects. - You will develop project budgets and
schedules to drive the completion of the project within the
constraints of both. - Track project spending, communicate spending
trends to the appropriate people in the organization and make
adjustments throughout the project to stay within authorization
amounts. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering
(mechanical or chemical) or equivalent engineering degree required.
- 5 years of project / capital engineering experience, preferably
in chemical or resin manufacturing environment. - Mechanical
control engineering experience - Excellent human relations skills
and some labor relations knowledge; outstanding skill in
communicating plans to technical & non-technical personnel. -
Possess problem solving skills and can conceptualize new systems or
modifications to existing systems. PPG pay ranges and benefits can
