Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An elementary school in the Athens, GA area is seeking
a Special Education Teacher for a contract position through the end
of the school year. This role focuses on inclusion and co-teaching
within an elementary setting, providing support and tailored
instruction to students with special needs. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group instruction aligned with students
IEPs and curricular goals Collaborate with general education
teachers to support inclusive classroom environments Monitor and
track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
Engage with parents, support staff, and administrators to ensure
comprehensive student support Maintain accurate records and
documentation as required by district policies Qualifications:
Active Georgia Special Education General Curriculum certification
Experience in inclusive practices, particularly co-teaching models,
at the elementary level Strong communication and collaboration
skills Commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning
environment Details: Location: Jefferson, GA Position duration:
January 12, 2026 May 20, 2026 Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, onsite
only School setting: Elementary school inclusion classroom This
