the logistics sector. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport
goods and materials to various destinations. Inspect vehicles for
mechanical items and safety issues, report any deficiencies
promptly. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with
truck driving rules and regulations. Document and log work/rest
periods, kilometres spent driving, and retain fuel/toll receipts.
Manage load paperwork, ensuring accurate delivery records are
maintained. Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
staff to ensure smooth transit. Strong driving skills with a focus
on safety and efficiency. Good time management and organizational
skills. Ability to navigate various electronic log devices and
tracking software. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems to
identify issues with trucks. Effective communication abilities for
dealing with customers and team members. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A). Clean driving record. DOT
medical card.
