Key Responsibilities: -Operate large forklifts to safely load approximately 6,000-lb dump bodies onto flatbed trailers -Maneuver equipment precisely to prevent damage to finished paint work, trailers, and surrounding property -Operate skid steers to move sand and materials efficiently -Perform snow removal using a skid steer while avoiding damage to buildings, vehicles, and property -Utilize mechanical capabilities to assist with equipment adjustments, inspections, and basic troubleshooting -Maintain a safe, organized work area at all times -Follow shop procedures, safety protocols, and loading processes Qualifications: -5 years of forklift and/or skid steer operating experience required -Ability to run large-capacity forklifts -Mechanical aptitude required -Strong understanding of load balance, equipment limitations, and safe material handling -Ability to work carefully around finished products and structures -Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently Preferred Experience: -Prior experience in heavy equipment environment -Experience handling oversized or high-value loads Hours: Monday Friday, 5am-2:30pm Starting Pay: $18/hr, with potential for a raise upon permanent hire The ideal candidate will have experience in skilled trades, a strong work ethic, and a desire to grow with a company that invests in its people.
