In this role, you will maintain and repair various facility systems and machinery used in our daily operations. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently. Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. Record maintenance and repair work performed and the costs of the work. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to perform installations or repairs. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in using tools and repair equipment. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping and documentation. Preferred: HVAC certification Electrical or plumbing certification is a plus
