Job Description:
Firelands Chevrolet Norwalk seeks a skilled Service Technician
to join our dedicated automotive service team. As a cornerstone of
our commitment to excellence, our Service Technicians play a
crucial role in maintaining the performance and reliability of
vehicles, ensuring our customers enjoy a safe and satisfying
driving experience. In this role, you will work alongside a team of
experienced professionals in a state-of-the-art facility, using the
latest tools and technologies in the automotive industry. Perform
routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including diagnostics,
troubleshooting, and technical tasks. Maintain accurate records of
each repair and service performed on vehicles. Stay current with
industry technology and service innovations. Ensure all work
complies with dealership and industry quality standards.
Communicate effectively with team members and service managers to
ensure a seamless service process. Provide superior customer
service, including explaining vehicle issues and repairs clearly
and accurately. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving
skills. Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment. Ability
to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Detail-oriented and organized. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)
certifications preferred. Valid driver's license and a clean
driving record.
