Fast-paced manufacturer is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Accountant to join their team.  Daily you will report to the Controller and work within a team of accounting professionals.  Responsibilities will include:
 

• 
  
• Coordinating daily, weekly and monthly financials 
  
• Reviewing expenses on a daily basis 
  
• Completing account reconciliation 
  
• Providing daily guidance to staff members 
  
• Assisting with completing and coordinating month and year end 
  
• Supporting the forecasting process 
  
• Providing financial analysis 
  
• Changing to new cost standards on an annual basis 
  
• Analyzing financial statements
  
• Monitoring daily banking activities and cash flow 
  
• Making accounting-related recommendations for improvements and cost savings
  
• Other tasks as assigned by management
  
   
  Individuals should be able to work on multiple tasks at a time and manage changing priorities.  Candidates will work within team environments and be able to communicate at all levels of the plant.  Candidates should feel comfortable working in fast-paced environments.  This is a direct-hire position that needs filled immediately.  
  
  REQUIREMENTS for the Sr. Manufacturing Accountant:
  
  
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  
• A minimum of five years of similar manufacturing accounting experience  
  
• Experience assisting with journal entries and reconciliation for month and year-end closing 
  
• Experience assisting with the budgeting process
  
• General understanding of cost accounting processes 
  
• Experience working with ERP systems 
  
• Microsoft Office, including strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills  
  
   
  Skills preferred, but not required:
  
  
• Automotive supplier experience  
  
• Forecasting experience 
  
• Experience overseeing others
