FULLTIME NIGHT SHIFT (6p-6:30am)$5,000 HIRING BONUS!Come join our awesome team as a Registered Nurse (RN) at Tiffin Rehab Center.The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the health and safety of residents, including assisting with medication, recording vital signs, assist with shift changes and shift reports, and monitors the healthcare provided by other nursing staff.Tiffin Rehabilitation Center is a part of Volunteers of American National Services which serves as the housing and healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization.RN Job Highlights:Generous refer a friend bonuses403(b) Retirement Plan;Career scholarships;Quality training, continuing career education and leadership programs;Medical, Dental and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off (Vacation, Holiday & Sick Days)Pay in Lieu of Benefits ProgramSchedules: Fulltime Nights 6:00p-6:30am and occasional weekendsSalary: $31-$33 based on previous years of experience!Earn UP TO $38.94 per hour by waiving benefits! *Ask you Recruiter for details!Required Qualifications:Current licensure in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse.Current CPR Certification.Maintenance of required CEUs.Experience in long-term care preferred.Clinical competence to utilize the nursing process to perform physical and cognitive assessments of residents.Understanding of current Antibiotic Stewardship, Infection Prevention and Infection Control and OSHA guidelines.Essential Functions:Role models positive communication skills with NA/Rs, C.N.A.s, STNAs, TMAs (if applicable), interdisciplinary team, supervisory and management team, customers, residents and families.Listen to shift report and keep open lines of communication with supervisor, co-workers and on-coming shift.Make rounds to residents to observe their physical and psychosocial status.Assign personnel appropriately to meet resident needs.Ensure that unit personnel on your shift are carrying out their assignments.Attend nurses and team meetings as scheduled and/or assigned.Initiate disciplinary action when the performance of personnel warrants such action.Report occupational exposures to needlesticks, blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals in accordance with facility policy and procedures governing accidents and incidents.Brings concerns/improvement suggestions to facility leadership and QAA/QAPI committee.Maintains competence in all required skills within assigned area(s).Located in Tiffin, Ohio, just down the road from Autumnwood Care Center, is Tiffin Rehabilitation Center, home to quality therapy and rehabilitation for seniors recovering from injury or hospitalization.
